Mixed Chicks

As I sat down to read Lucky Magazine the other day, a favorite monthly ritual of mine, I saw an advertisement that I thought I’d share with you. The ad was for a leave-in conditioner by a company called Mixed Chicks. Instantly the named intrigued me, so I decided to visit the website to see what this company is all about. And though I’m not technically a “mixed chick” (although some would argue that we’re all mixed in some way), I love what these ladies are doing. Wendi Levy and Kim Etheredge started “Mixed Chicks” hair product line for people of all races and nationalities with curly hair. Both children of interracial relationships, their goal was to create good, quality products for those with natural curls.

As the mom of a child with naturally curly hair, I’ve experienced the struggle of finding products that work well. For the Mommy Fashionality moms looking for hair products for  your curly haired little ones or even for yourself, give Mixed Chicks a try! You can find information about the company and products on their website, MixedChicks.net. You can order products online as well.

Happy Shopping!

  • As a curly-headed lady I’ll have to give this a try!!

  • I’ve been using the leave in conditioner for my daughter for well over a year now. I love it! Its worth every penny. It really transforms her tresses from complete total hair chaos to total managablility. It also acts as a detangler. I love the fragrance. My mother loves it too. When she visits she plants her nose in Remi’s hair and keeps it there until I tell her enough’s enough. Lol.
