It’s no secret that Lucky Magazine is my favorite fashion mag! I think the fact that it’s all about shopping and I love to shop makes it the perfect magazine for me. And to further solidify my unwavering love, I opened the April issue only to discover an issue of Lucky Kids! YES! *fistpump*

Like its counterpart, Lucky Kids is filled with pages of THEEEEEE cutest clothes for the kiddos. They even do a great job of providing cute, trendy options for little boys, as we all know that it’s relatively easy to find fabulous clothes for girls. Boys…..not so much! Love it!!! If you don’t have a copy, get one!!! :-)

Mommies….mommies….mommies!!! Let me tell you why I love this swimsuit for us!
First, it’s a one piece and one piece swimsuits are typically mommy friendly!
Second, all of these stripes going in different directions are sure to draw attention AWAY from certain areas we’d rather not draw attention to…if ya know what I mean. ;-)

I am continually amazed by the great ideas that people come up with! Here’s the scoop on the latest idea we love! It’s called Rent the Runway. This online fashion business was started by friends Jennifer Hyman (Jenn) and Jennifer Fleiss (Jenny) to give us a lot more clothing options than many of our pockets can afford. Here’s the concept in short: you become a member(FREE), enter the date of your event, browse through available dresses and accessories, reserve the items you’d like to rent, and they’ll send them to you. They send TWO sizes to ensure you get the right fit! LOVE! And you return the items for FREE in the pre-paid envelope provided. They take care of the drycleaning. LOVE again!

Penelope Sunglasses $800

We saw these sunglasses on the Zoe Report by Rachel Zoe. We LOVE!!! They have such a vintage look with a modern touch. Now, since they ARE Louis Vuitton they cost a whopping $800!! Not sure about you but most of my mommy friends aren’t dishing out that much for sunnies, especially when you have destructive little ones just waiting to get their hands on something! But at least they’re fun to look at. :-)

As I was walking the floor at Nordstrom this morning I stopped by the cosmetics department to check things out. On display there was Gucci Guilty for Her. Lovely fragrance!!!! Next time you’re in the store please stop and check it out!!! You may not be able to afford a Gucci handbag but perhaps you can afford a Gucci fragrance. Remember gals…a lady should ALWAYS smell nice!!! ;-)
